Starting next month, there will be a slight price increase on lash refills due to rising costs in the beauty industry. Please expect to pay the new prices, which will be as follows:

1 week — $110 (formerly $100)
2-3 weeks — $132 (formerly $120)
4 weeks — $165 (formerly $150)
5 weeks — $220 (formerly $200)
6 weeks — Must pay for a full set.

That’s not all! In March, we will be moving to an easily accessible, bigger and more beautiful location in Manhattan! In order to avoid confusion, we will reveal our new address as soon as we have cleared our move-in date. But rest assured that it is in a convenient location near several MTA Transit stations and parking garages. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this exciting transition!

Yesterday I paid a visit to Cheri at Lash Boutique.  She is fantastic! The same full set of lashes that used to take me three and a half hours took her less than an hour and a half.  My eyelashes look natural and gorgeous.  I went out last night and received several compliments, even some from people who I would never imagine would notice eyelashes.  I woke up today looking like I was wearing mascara on long, thick, beautiful eyelashes.

Yes, yes… having long, lustrous eyelashes is a must for bringing out your beautiful eyes. But having defined eyebrows is just as important! From picking the perfect shade of brow color to healthy grooming habits, our friends over at Xtreme Lashes have a few helpful brow-shaping tips for us:

step 1: shade – [Always begin with a clean, dry brow, free of skincare or cosmetics!] Following your natural brow shape, apply your brow color in short, light strokes, working from the center of the brow outwards. Complete the inner portion of the brow last, to best gauge how much color is needed.

step 2: blend – Create a smooth, even finish by brushing lightly through the brows with an angled brow brush. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until desired color and coverage is achieved.

step 3: groom – Finish by taming any stray hairs using a styling wand. Allow your brow color to dry or set completely before applying any additional makeup.

Just a few friendly reminders on how to best care for your gorgeous eyelash extensions, my lovelies!

Lash Boutique DON’Ts — please DO NOT:

• Pick or pull at your lashes
• Excessively rub your eyes, as this will pull off the extensions prematurely
• Use a harsh eyelash curler, as this will break the synthetic lashes
• Apply mascara to the base of the lashes; only on the lash tips
• Use oil-based products; doing so will dissolve the bond
• Use cotton balls or swabs directly on the extensions, as fibers can get caught in the bond
• Overexpose lashes to steam rooms and/or tanning salons, as they can weaken the bond

Lash Boutique DOs — please DO:

• Brush your lashes daily to create a dramatic, fanned-out look (when brushing, brush from the middle of the lash to the tip)
• Use the Xtreme Lashes Heated Eyelash Curler (sold here) to help lift and curl your lashes without damaging your extensions
• Close your eyes and press lashes with a bath towel or paper towel when they get wet; this will remove excess water without weakening the bond
• Wash around your eyes first when washing your face; when removing eye makeup, use a Q-tip and our formulated eye makeup remover
• Use products specially formulated for synthetic eyelash extensions
