Though Halloween is well over a month away, many of my clients are already planning their parties and costumes! Colored lash extensions are an excellent way to spice up any costume, and I offer a range of hues, including red, pink, hot pink, purple, green, blue, auburn and dark brown.

These colors can be mixed and matched, subtle or dramatic. They can also easily be incorporated into your current set of lashes during your lash refill next month, and then removed and replaced with your usual black or brown extensions post Halloween, if you would like. And for those of you who want to cover up the color for business, a light coat of mascara can easily mask the bold tint of your colored lashes. Call now to book your pre-Halloween appointment!

I am now offering a brand-new service to Lash Boutique — eyebrow and eyelash tinting! A perfectly safe procedure, eyebrow and eyelash tinting is done with a permanent dye that is safe for use near the eyes and eyelids. The tint can last anywhere from six to eight weeks — brows and lashes will need to be touched up as hairs fall out and are replaced naturally through regrowth.

This procedure is quick, painless and perfect for those with extremely light, hard-to-see brows or lashes or for those who simply want to match their brows to their newly dyed hair color. It is an easy, two-step process that takes little more than 10 minutes.

My new lash stylist Debra swears by it, too. It’s perfect for use on both lash extensions and natural lashes — it lengthens, thickens and conditions, without clumps or flakes. It’s available in Black, Brown and Blue, and the intense pigment gives your lashes a slightly more dramatic, defined look. When using it to enhance your lash extensions, less is more — I recommend applying it only on your lash tips. Don’t be afraid to try different colors for your extensions. Trust me, when I say that you won’t look like you’re channeling 1985, unless you’d like that style (hey, I can do it!) Tinted lash extensions can really shine and make your eyes pop. I recommend green if you have hazel eyes and blue for blue eyes. Reds and purples actually look good on everyone. I also have pink, hot pink, auburn, golden and dark brown. We can even mix and match if you’re feeling really creative! My client above is wearing purple. Gorgeous, right?
